The Challenge
Developers frequently ship sites with critical SEO issues that tools like Lighthouse miss: noindex tags left on production, broken robots.txt, missing Open Graph tags, SSL problems, and pages that AI crawlers like ChatGPT and Perplexity silently can't read. One client lost 90% of organic traffic from a forgotten noindex tag that went undetected for 47 days.
Our Approach
We built a fast, developer-focused linter that runs 60 automated checks across indexability, crawlability, meta tags, Open Graph, structured data, SSL, performance, accessibility, and AI visibility. It ships on three surfaces (a browser scanner, a CLI, and CI/CD), so the same checks run in the browser, inside a deploy hook, or as a PR gate. Every issue comes back in plain English with a severity and a one-minute fix.
The Solution
A platform at lintpage.com that scans any URL in ~30 seconds with no signup, flags critical issues that block deployment until resolved, and can fail a CI build on errors via `npx lintpage scan $DEPLOY_URL --fail-on-error`. It also tests whether AI crawlers like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can actually read a page, and includes six free standalone tools: Meta Tag Checker, Robots.txt Validator, AI Crawler Checker, Open Graph Tag Preview, Sitemap Validator, and Heading Structure Checker.
